Photos by Rosie Fairchild Walker

Queer audhd artist. Born and raised in Co Clare, Ireland. There is something in the air there, in the water and the soil and the silence. Currently based in Sheffield, United Kingdom, which does share some similarities with rural Ireland in the plants that litter the hedgerow and the way the fog rolls in. You never truly separate from where you begin (or maybe it’s just pattern recognition).

I am a collector, a documenter and a putter together of bits and things. I love nothing more than a photo booth, or an excuse to rummage through family photos (don’t even have to be my own).

I work with items both found and personal. I take film photographs, create analog and digital collage that sometimes escalate into assemblage and installation work if I have enough space. These are often paired with text either put together bits of poetry from found words or my own ramblings. Sometimes I paint, sometimes I sew.

Multidisciplined, in that I cannot commit to any one medium.
